Privacy Policy

    Effective date: October 13, 2026

    Overview

SwishCall is a basketball shot tracking app. This policy explains how the app handles your data.

SwishCall is developed and operated by SwishCall.

Your Account and Where Data Is Stored

You don't need to sign up. The first time you open SwishCall, the app creates an anonymous account for you with Firebase Authentication (Google). It has no name or email attached.

Your workouts, plans, Coach program, stats, and preferences are stored on your iPhone. They are also backed up to Firebase Cloud Firestore (Google) under your account ID, so they can be restored and kept in sync.

You can optionally sign in with Apple. Doing so links your existing account, and stores the name and email address Apple shares with us (which may be a private relay address) in your account profile.

SwishCall also processes analytics, crash, and attribution data to understand app usage, fix problems, and measure ad campaigns. This may include app interaction events, subscription events, crash reports, your account ID, and device identifiers provided by Apple and third-party SDKs.

    Camera

SwishCall requests camera access only if you choose Camera mode, which counts makes and misses automatically. Camera frames are analyzed on your device as they arrive. SwishCall does not record, store, or upload camera video or images, and you can use the app without granting camera access.

To improve camera tracking, SwishCall sends session statistics to Firebase Analytics, such as shot counts, corrections, session length, and device performance. These statistics never include images or video.

    Microphone and Speech Recognition

SwishCall requests microphone access to enable voice-activated shot counting. Speech recognition is provided by Apple's Speech framework and may run on-device or through Apple services depending on your device and iOS speech availability.

SwishCall does not store audio recordings and does not upload your audio to SwishCall servers.

    Motion

If you use head gestures with compatible AirPods, SwishCall reads head movement from them to recognize the gesture. This happens on your device and is not stored or sent anywhere.

    Notifications

If you allow notifications, daily reminders are scheduled locally on your device through Apple's notification system.

SwishCall may also send push notifications through Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google). You can turn notifications off at any time in iOS Settings > Notifications > SwishCall.

    Subscriptions and Purchases

Optional subscriptions are processed by Apple through StoreKit. Apple handles billing and payment information. SwishCall uses Adapty to manage subscriptions and show purchase screens; Adapty receives your purchase and subscription information and basic device information, but never your payment details. Your subscription status is also saved to your account so Pro can be restored.

    Third-Party Services and Tracking

    SwishCall uses these third-party services:

    • Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore (Google): your anonymous or Sign in with Apple account, and backup and sync of your workout data.
    • Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google): push notifications.
    • Firebase Crashlytics (Google): crash reports, linked to your account ID, used to find and fix bugs.
    • Firebase Remote Config and App Check (Google): app settings and app security.
    • Firebase Analytics (Google): used to measure product usage events and feature engagement.
    • AppsFlyer: used for install and purchase attribution and campaign performance measurement.
    • SKAdNetwork (Apple): privacy-preserving ad attribution managed by Apple.
    • Adapty: subscription management and purchase screens.

We require these providers to protect your data with safeguards at least as strong as those described in this policy.

Third-party privacy policies: Firebase Privacy, AppsFlyer Privacy, and Adapty Privacy.

    Data Sharing

SwishCall does not sell your personal data, workout history, or plan content. We share data with the service providers listed above, to run the features they provide. To measure our ad campaigns, AppsFlyer passes install and purchase events to the ad networks that ran them. If you use Share features, you choose what to share and where to share it through iOS sharing tools.

    Advertising and App Tracking Transparency

SwishCall may request permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework to measure ad performance across apps and websites. You can decline tracking and still use the app. You can also change your choice any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.

    Data Retention and Deletion

Your synced workout data is kept for as long as your account exists. Profile details (your name and email) are kept only if you sign in with Apple, for as long as that account exists. Deleting the app removes SwishCall data from that device, but not the backup in your account.

To delete your account data, open the app's Settings and choose Delete my data, or Delete account if you signed in with Apple. Either one permanently removes your workouts, plans, and Coach progress from your device and from our servers. Deleting an Apple-linked account also removes your profile and revokes Sign in with Apple.

Analytics, crash, attribution, and subscription data processed by Firebase, AppsFlyer, and Adapty is retained on their servers subject to their respective data retention policies.

Why We Use Your Data and Your Rights

We use your data to provide the app and sync your workouts (to perform our agreement with you), and to fix bugs, improve the app, and measure our ads (our legitimate interest).

Our service providers may process data on servers outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, these transfers rely on safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to withdraw consent at any time. To use any of these rights, email support@swishcall.app. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

    Children's Privacy

SwishCall is not directed at children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and address it.

    Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates are reflected on this page with a revised effective date.
